GRFS successfully completed its five-day Kids To Camp 2026 Summer Program, bringing children together through STEM, sports, creativity, teamwork, friendship, and inclusive community-building.
With support from the City of Waterloo through the 2026 Sports & Recreation Grant Program, GRFS is continuing and expanding its Weekly Open Soccer Program to create accessible opportunities for physical activity, friendship, and community connection.
GRFS is offering a five-day summer Activity and Game Program for up to 35 middle school students, featuring sports, STEM activities, creative workshops, teamwork, friendship, and hands-on learning.

GRFS Grade 9 and 10 Summer School students enjoyed an exciting day at Niagara Falls, including a Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour, scenic exploration, friendship, and learning beyond the classroom.
Thirteen GRFS mentorship students visited the University of Waterloo to explore Engineering and Health programs, learning facilities, campus resources, and future post-secondary opportunities.
More than 100 children and youth participated in the first Football for Learning summer soccer training sessions delivered by GRFS Sports Academy, enjoying soccer, friendship, teamwork, and learning in a welcoming environment.
