Weekend & Summer School

Grand River Friendship Society Weekend School helps educate children aged 6-12 according to the Qur’an and Sunnah in an entertaining and informative way. The main goal of the weekend school is to connect children to their Creator by making them responsible, caring, respectful and kind individuals. Along with the spiritual and personal growth opportunities, Weekend School offers arts and crafts activities, science classes, character education and Turkish language classes. Students also participate in fun activities such as field trip.

Vision

Our vision is to create life-long learning opportunities for young learners. We strive to teach kids how to be critical thinkers and strong believers. We encourage the idea that effective learning and personal growth take place with a great deal of curiosity for knowledge. We desire to give an individual the fundamentals to grow personally and spiritually.
