This Thanksgiving, we pause with gratitude for the people who make our community stronger, kinder, and more connected.
At Grand River Friendship Society, we are thankful for our families, volunteers, mentors, donors, partners, and community members whose time, trust, compassion, and generosity help create meaningful opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
We also recognize that Thanksgiving may hold different meanings and experiences for different people. In that spirit, we honour the many cultures, histories, traditions, and perspectives that enrich our shared community.
May this season remind us that gratitude is not only something we feel, but something we practise—by listening to one another, supporting those in need, welcoming new neighbours, and helping everyone feel respected, included, and valued.
To those celebrating with family and friends, and to those spending the day in quieter or more difficult circumstances, we extend our warmest wishes.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with peace, warmth, meaningful connection, and hope.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Grand River Friendship Society.
Together, we give thanks. Together, we care. Together, we build stronger communities.
