Dialogue Book Club Opens New Season with Dreams & Possibilities: From Dreaming to Becoming

October 28, 20260

On October 23, 2026, Grand River Friendship Society (GRFS) welcomed participants to Conrad Grebel University College for the opening gathering of a new Dialogue Book Club season. Under the October theme, “Dreams & Possibilities: From Dreaming to Becoming,” the evening brought people together for thoughtful conversations, personal reflection, and meaningful connections.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored how dreams shape their aspirations, what sometimes holds them back from pursuing those dreams, and how small but meaningful steps can bring them closer to the lives they envision.

Through shared experiences and diverse perspectives, the conversation highlighted the power of imagination, the courage required to move beyond our comfort zones, and the importance of embracing opportunities for personal growth.

Beyond the theme itself, the gathering offered a welcoming space for participants to listen to one another, exchange ideas, and build connections through open and respectful dialogue. Each perspective added depth to the conversation, reminding us that the journey from dreaming to becoming can take many different forms.

At GRFS, we believe meaningful dialogue creates opportunities for learning, understanding, and personal development. The Dialogue Book Club continues to provide a space where individuals can explore ideas, reflect on their experiences, and discover new perspectives together.

GRFS extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who joined the October gathering and generously shared their thoughts, experiences, and reflections.

Here’s to a new season of meaningful conversations, new connections, and discovering who we are becoming!
