On Friday evening, we were delighted to host our Ukrainian friends from Grassroots Response to the Ukrainian Crisis.
This gathering was a wonderful opportunity to get to know one another — we introduced ourselves, they shared their inspiring work, and together we discussed how they support Ukrainians who have recently arrived in Canada. We also explored meaningful ways to collaborate and work side by side in the future.
We were especially pleased to meet Stephanie Goertz, Director and Founder of Grassroots Response to the Ukrainian Crisis, who delivered an insightful and engaging presentation. We sincerely thank her for sharing such valuable information and for the meaningful knowledge we gained through her presentation.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Alona Riznyk from the Ukrainian Support Team for organizing this wonderful gathering and bringing everyone together.
Seeing such a strong turnout and welcoming so many participants made the evening even more special. Meeting new friends, growing our connections, and feeling like part of a larger family is what we are all about. We are grateful for this new friendship and look forward to building beautiful initiatives together.
