On Thursday, November 21, we closed our Women & Relationships theme with Marriage Story, guided by insights from Brené Brown’s The Power of Vulnerability podcast.

We talked about the defense mechanisms we carry into our relationships, emotional numbness as a form of self-protection, the courage to speak about hard things, and what it truly means for a woman to lose—and then rediscover—herself.
It was honest, tender, and deeply human.

And then… we celebrated our 5th year together.
One of our members surprised us with a beautiful video: how we began, how we kept going through the pandemic, the books we’ve read over the years, the posters, the moments that became a breathing space for all of us.
It reminded us that even though we speak different languages, books have always been our shared language.

But the biggest surprise of the night?
A letter written in the voice of a character from one of the books we read or the films we watched—prepared for each participant, wrapped like a tiny scroll.
The room fell silent as evryone opened theirs… then came the smiles, the tears, the laughter.
It was magic.

We shared beautiful treats, cut our 5th-year cake, and celebrated in a space decorated with love—vintage teacups, a book-themed table, and runners made from old book pages.

Everyone left with a warm heart.
And we left with one shared truth:
Stories bring us together. And this community is one of our greatest stories.

Here’s to the next chapter.
