About Grand River Friendship Society
Grand River Friendship Society

Grand River Friendship Society (GRFS) is a registered charitable organization that has been serving Canada’s Waterloo Region since 2005. Based in Baden, Ontario, we actively support communities across Kitchener–Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and surrounding areas.

We bring people from diverse backgrounds to build trust, belonging, and social connection. Through community programs and partnerships, we address local needs in areas such as education, youth leadership, newcomer integration, and community wellbeing.

At GRFS, we believe strong communities grow when people feel valued, supported, and connected. By creating inclusive spaces for dialogue, learning, and collaboration, we contribute to a more inclusive and resilient Canada.
