On March 6th, our iftar table was filled with joy, laughter, and the bright energy of our youngest guests—preschool and elementary school children. With the warm hospitality of their teachers and dedicated high school volunteers, every detail was carefully planned to make this iftar an unforgettable experience for them. The beautifully decorated tables, thoughtful gift bags, and the excitement of sharing this moment with their friends made the night even more special.
After iftar, we came together for evening prayers, embracing the spirit of unity. Then, the children got to enjoy a traditional Hacivat & Karagöz shadow play, a cherished part of our Ramadan culture, bringing history and laughter together.
A heartfelt thank you to Gönül, Sümeyye, Nuray, and Zerrin for their efforts, as well as to the high school volunteers who made this night so magical. And, of course, a huge appreciation to the families who took the time to bring their children to this special gathering.
May the blessings of Ramadan continue to bring us together in love and kindness—because love is a verb, and we live it through our actions. ❤
