In the wake of the tragic events at Vancouver’s Lapu Lapu Day festival, where a vehicle-ramming attack claimed the lives of 11 individuals and injured many more, our hearts are heavy with sorrow. This senseless act has deeply affected the Filipino-Canadian community and all those who cherish the values of unity and celebration.  
As we mourn the loss of these innocent lives, we stand in solidarity with the victims’ families and the broader community. May we find strength in each other during this time of grief and work together to heal and support those affected.
