On March 15, our community came together once again at Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church for a heartwarming evening of shared food, connection, and kindness.

From early prep in the kitchen to thoughtful table setups and friendly greetings at the door, our amazing volunteers made sure every detail was cared for. Over 80 guests joined us, filling the room with laughter, stories, and that special sense of belonging that only grows when we gather together.

Whether you came for the meal, the conversation, or simply a warm place to be—you were part of something meaningful.

Because love is a verb—and that was truly felt in every bowl served and every smile shared.

A huge thank you to the Grand River Friendship Society, Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, and the Food Bank of Waterloo Region for making this event possible—and to each volunteer who gave their time and heart.

We can’t wait to do it all again next month!
