We were delighted to host Mayor Jan Liggett of Cambridge and Mayor Natasha Salonen of Wilmot at the Grand River Friendship Society (GRFS) campus in Baden for a warm and engaging breakfast meeting.
Our board member Leon Kehl, executive director Cumali Sahin, director of public relations Berat Berberoglu, and dedicated volunteers welcomed them with heartfelt hospitality and an incredible traditional Turkish breakfast.
It was a meaningful opportunity to share the ongoing work GRFS is doing to support the community, discuss future projects, and explore new ways to collaborate for the betterment of our region. The atmosphere was filled with sincere dialogue, mutual respect, and a shared passion for building bridges across cultures.
