On March 21st, our incredible students from St. Mary’s High School welcomed their teachers to a heartwarming iftar dinner hosted at GRFS. The evening was filled with warmth, gratitude, and beautiful moments of connection that reflected the spirit of Ramadan.
With a program that included recitation from the Qur’an, thoughtful presentations, and reflections, guests experienced both the cultural and spiritual richness of the occasion. The students led the way—introducing Grand River Friendship Society with pride and enthusiasm, showing the power of youth in building bridges.
Every smile, every shared plate, and every heartfelt exchange reminded us of one simple truth:
Love is a verb. It lives in the invitations we extend, the stories we share, and the community we nurture.
