Last Friday evening, we had the pleasure of visiting our Indigenous friends for a truly meaningful gathering. This special evening marked the final program of the year, thoughtfully prepared together by Hope Engel and Flora.
We are sincerely thankful for their warm hospitality and for the beautiful Indigenous songs and the powerful drum performance they prepared especially for that night. We closed the program by singing songs of hope and peace together, creating a deeply touching and unifying moment for everyone.
We are also deeply grateful to Ana Lagos, KW Multicultural Center- Community Engagement Coordinator, for standing with us and supporting us throughout Hope’s program over the past four months.
We look forward to the new year with excitement and are happy to continue creating and sharing programs together.
