As part of this month’s Activity Week, our Grade 7 girls in the GRFS Mentorship Program spent the afternoon at Crock A Doodle in Waterloo, discovering the joy of pottery painting.
More than just brushes and paint, this outing offered space for imagination, patience, and self-expression. Each person carefully designed their piece, layering colours and ideas while sharing stories and laughter with friends and mentors.
Through art, they discovered creativity. Through each other, they found encouragement and confidence. From blank ceramics to vibrant creations, it was a day of expression, connection, and lasting memories.
At GRFS, we believe that growth happens not only in classrooms but also in these shared, hands-on moments—where creativity is nurtured and community is built. That’s why we say: Love is a Verb.
