At Grand River Friendship Society, our Conversation Circles are weekly gatherings that create safe and inclusive spaces for dialogue, growth, and connection.
More than just discussion groups, our circles are designed to empower individuals socially, culturally, and emotionally.
Each small and welcoming group includes people from diverse backgrounds who come together to:
Foster mutual understanding and respect
Promote social inclusion and cultural identity
Strengthen communication and emotional resilience
Support mental health and well-being
Encourage youth and women’s leadership
Combat social isolation and discrimination
Build civic engagement and community responsibility
These goals align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 3 – Good Health & Well-being
SDG 4 – Quality Education
SDG 5 – Gender Equality
SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities
