]]> At Grand River Friendship Society, we believe in the power of gathering around food, stories, and shared smiles. This special summer picnic invites women to connect, unwind, and nourish the spirit through a heartwarming potluck.

From 5 PM to 8 PM, sisters will enjoy a peaceful outdoor gathering full of laughter, delicious halal dishes, and the joy of cultural sharing. Whether it’s a treasured recipe or a beloved treat from home, every dish brings us closer together. Children under 12 are welcome, making this a truly family-friendly celebration!

Love shows up when we prepare food for others, when we sit in a circle and listen, when we make space for every story. This picnic is a reminder that love isn’t just spoken—it’s shared, tasted, and felt in every kind gesture. At GRFS, we continue turning compassion into action, one meal and one moment at a time.
