Summer School fun continues as our Grade 9 students took their learning outside the classroom and onto the green at Market Sports! It was a day full of laughter, friendly competition, and teamwork as students played mini golf, enjoyed the sunshine, and built lasting memories together.

Moments like these show us that connection, confidence, and community can grow anywhere—even on a mini golf course!

At GRFS, we believe that love is something you do — and in moments like these, it’s expressed through the simple act of showing up, sharing space, and listening with care.

Game On at Activate Cambridge

On Friday, our Grade 9 students enjoyed an exciting and interactive outing to Activate Cambridge—a high-energy experience space filled with innovative, tech-driven games. This was more than just a field trip; it was a chance for our students to challenge themselves, work together, and build stronger connections through play.

Ten of our Grade 9 students took part in this dynamic experience, where they were divided into three teams and spent 75 minutes competing in a variety of games—from a laser maze and basketball challenges to colour grid puzzles and more. The energy was high, the teamwork was strong, and the laughter was non-stop. At the end of the event, some students proudly exchanged their points for fun rewards like water bottles and keychains.

This event reminded us that Love is a Verb when we invest time in uplifting one another, strengthening friendships, and celebrating every step of growth—especially when it’s this fun!
