Today, we reflected on the dignity of work and the shared values of fairness, equity, and respect in all labour. We acknowledged the many workers—past and present—whose contributions have moved our communities forward and continue to inspire the next generation.

Labour is more than a job—it’s an act of love for our families, our neighbours, and our future. At Grand River Friendship Society, we celebrate this truth every day, because love isn’t just what we say—it’s what we build together.
