All Kitchener–Waterloo mentors, from middle school to university level, are warmly invited to our Mentor Convention, hosted by GRFS, taking place at Conrad Grebel University College, Waterloo, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Throughout the day, we will engage in meaningful discussions focused on mentoring and youth guidance. The program will include sessions on:
The technical aspects of mentoring
Effective mentoring approaches
Communication with parents
Adolescent psychology
In addition, we will explore guidance practices, youth development, and the broader mentoring framework that supports healthy relationships and positive outcomes. The day will also include best-practice sharing and networking sessions, offering a valuable opportunity to learn from and connect with one another.
