Grand River Friendship Society is grateful to SportChek for providing GRFS with access to its 2026 VIP Promotion, creating another meaningful opportunity to support children, youth, and families connected with our community programs.

Through this initiative, eligible GRFS participants and families will have access to special SportChek VIP discount codes that can help reduce the cost of sporting goods, footwear, clothing, and other eligible products during the promotion period.

For many families, the cost of equipment and appropriate clothing can be an additional barrier to participating in sport and recreation. Opportunities such as the SportChek VIP Promotion complement GRFS’s broader efforts to make community programs more accessible and help families participate with greater confidence.

Supporting Football for Learning Families

As part of this year’s initiative, every family registered in GRFS’s Football for Learning program will receive one SportChek VIP discount code.

Football for Learning combines free weekly football training with education and mentorship opportunities for children and youth. Providing participating families with access to the SportChek VIP Promotion adds another practical layer of support by helping families save on eligible sport, footwear, and everyday active-living needs.

VIP codes will be shared directly with registered families and are subject to the terms and conditions of the SportChek promotion.

Extending the Impact Beyond Our Programs

GRFS sees partnerships and community-support opportunities as an important part of reducing barriers for the people we serve.

The impact of a program is not limited to what happens during a training session, classroom activity, or community event. Helping families access equipment, clothing, learning opportunities, and other resources can make participation more sustainable and inclusive.

The SportChek VIP Promotion is a strong example of how businesses and community organizations can work together to create practical benefits for local families.

Thank You, SportChek

GRFS extends its sincere appreciation to SportChek for continuing to make this opportunity available to our community.

Support like this helps strengthen access to sport and active living while allowing GRFS to provide additional value to children, youth, volunteers, families, and community members connected with our programs.

We are thankful for SportChek’s commitment to supporting communities and for helping us create more accessible opportunities for the families we serve.

Together, community organizations and businesses can help remove barriers, encourage participation, and create healthier, more connected communities.
